Normally, I'm a little more on top of these things -- but life sometimes has other plans.

I hope everyone had a great time last night - as a reminder our LAST meet is against George Wythe on Monday. We will practice as normal (weather permitting) Wed-Fri this week and next Monday 7/22. 

Tuesday 7/23 we will NOT have practice and Wednesday we are planning a fun day for all groups. City Meet Practices will resume on Thursday and run through Friday Aug. 2.

Despite the heat (of the pool deck and the water), we had 32 swimmers improveme their times -- with some swimmers completing events legally for the very first time (That IM was awesome, Josh! -- Shout outs to our 7-8 year olds who swam 50's, too!. We also had more cut times!

Congratulations to Owen Humble (11) for earning his first City Meet Cut in the 50 back.

And further congratulations to the following swimmers for adding to their City Meet Qualifications:

• Hudson Kulzer (9): 50 Free
• McCoy Tuttle (13): 50 Free, 50 Back, and 50 Breast
• Coach Will (18): 50 Free -- completing his full set of events
• Rhodes Lomax (7): 25 Fly
• Danie Greenwood (10): 50 fly -- completing her full set of events

Note to all qualifiers -- please ensure you've declared as "attending" or "not attending" the meet. 

Remember, hard work works -- and when you are close to a cut time, those turns, breakouts, and breathing matter quite a lot.
